Conway E. Kuhlmann, 86, Vero Beach

Conway E. Kuhlmann, 86, died Jan. 14, 2010, at Indian River Medical Center.

He was born in St. Louis and lived in Vero Beach since 1999, coming from Eleuthera, Bahamas. He served in Germany during World War II as an Army medic.

He graduated from St. Louis College of Pharmacy and worked as a pharmacist. He was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and Habitat for Humanity, Vero Beach.

Survivors include his daughters, Lisbeth Kuhlmann, Carol Kuhlmann and Barbie Flack; brother, Thomas A. Kuhlmann; and sisters, Mary E. Koeppe and Martha A. Stoenner.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Huff Kuhlmann; and brothers, Edward F. Kuhlmann, William G. Kuhlmann and Robert H. Kuhlmann.

Memorial contributions may be made to Habitat for Humanity, 2209 18th Ave., Vero Beach, FL 32960.

A memorial services will be at Our Savior Lutheran at a later date.
