Jerome Pagano, 83, died Dec. 17, 2009, at his home.
He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived in Vero Beach since 1996, coming from Baldwin, N.Y. He served in the Army during World War II and was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
He was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels in Vero Beach.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Virginia E. Pagano of Vero Beach.

A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Dec. 29 at St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
Visitation will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home. A graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, with military honors.
