Ruby P. Means, 92, died Dec. 16, 2009, at the Consulate Health Care of Vero Beach.
She was born in Union County, N.C., and lived in Vero Beach since 1968, coming from Midland, N.C. Before retirement, she worked at Anthony Inc. In Vero Beach for 25 years as a sales representative.
She was a member of the Community Church of Vero Beach. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Walter Means of Vero Beach; sisters, Christine P. Clontz of Charlotte, N.C., Doris Edmonds of Locust, N.C., and Kelly Ann Watkins of Indian Trails, N.C.; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Billy Hall Morris Sr.
