Margaret W. Gunther, 87, of Vero Beach and Fernandina Beach, died Nov. 29 at Indian River Medical Center. She was born July 26, 1922 in Manhattan, N.Y., and had been a resident of Vero Beach for 21 years coming from West Dennis, Mass. She was a veteran of the U.S. Army during W.W. II, serving in the WAC. Mrs. Gunther was a retired Administrative Assistant working in County government. She was a member of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, Vero Beach. She is survived by 3 daughters, Kathleen Hughes of Midland, Texas; Veronica Lenz of Fernandina Beach; Patricia Gunther of Lafayette, Ind.; sister, Mary Militzer of Arlington, Vt.; 4 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Fernandina Beach. Donations may be made to the Humane Society of Vero Beach, 6320 77th St., Vero Beach, FL 32960.
