Sunrise Rotary takes youth guidance kids to the ballgame

VERO BEACH — Eleven members of Sunrise Rotary took 18 Youth Guidance children, ages 11 up, to see a baseball game at Tradition Field in St. Lucie West, an annual event for this Gold Partner of the Youth Guidance Volunteer Program.  Businesses, service clubs and church groups who can provide at least ten volunteers to pair with Youth Guidance children for an activity of its choice, once a year while bearing the cost of the event may become a Gold Partner.

Other Youth Guidance Gold Partners include Camp, Dresser & McKee, Disney Resort, Exchange Clubs of Indian River and Treasure Coast, Growing Healthy Kids, Holy Cross Youth Group, Indian River Medical Center, Junior League of Indian River, Laurie and Brian Connelly, Merrill Lynch of Vero Beach, Realtors’ Association of Indian River County, Sebastian Rotary Club, Experimental Aircraft Association, and Visiting Nurse Association.
