Concetta M. Rice, 88, died Nov. 20, 2009, at Palm Garden of Vero Beach. She was born in Shelton, Conn., and lived in Florida since 1984, coming from Slingerlands, N.Y. Before retirement, she was employed by New York Telephone Co. for 35 years. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Rensselaerville, N.Y., where she taught Sunday school. She was elected president of the Business and Professional Women’s Club of Albany, N.Y. and was a lifetime member of the Telecom Pioneers in Albany and past president of the Palm Beach chapter. Survivors include her son, Timothy Moore of Pinehurst, N.C.; daughter, Joanne Wickstrand of Vero Beach; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gustav L. Rice; and brother, Christy J. Bruno. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church, P.O.
