Margaret Julianna Brady, 82, Vero Beach

Margaret Julianna Brady, 82, died Nov. 15, 2009, at Palm Gardens Nursing Home in Vero Beach after a six-month stay. She was born Nov. 30, 1926, in Manhattan, New York City, New York. She was the daughter of Nicholas Paller and Veronica Lovas Paller (both deceased in 1971), who were natives of Hungary. She had one sister, Yolanda, who predeceased her in 1976.

Margaret was educated at St. Stevens of Hungary parish school in New York City and graduated from Julia Richmond High School in New York City. She attended New York University in New York City.

Margaret was a bookkeeper in the diamond district of New York and various Wall Street firms, including working in the World Trade Center, before leaving the city.

She married George Grey Brady, a native of Scotland, in 1954. Mr. Brady passed away in 1974.

Survivors include her daughter, Yvonne V. (Mike) Brady Pullen, who together own and operate the Antique Workshop in Vero Beach; granddaughters, Kristen (Peyton) Pullen Jones and Major Claire E. Pullen, United States Army, of Fairfax, Va.; and great-great-grandsons, James “P.J.” Jones and Kyle Jones.

Mrs. Brady moved to Vero Beach following the death of her parents in 1971. In Vero Beach, she worked in Woolworth’s, the Council on Aging and Wal-Mart, and for many years at the Antique Workshop. She was often seen about town going and coming on her three-wheel bike.

The family will host a Gathering of Remembrance for friends at their home in Vero Beach Nov. 29 at 4 p.m.
