Children’s Home Society Holiday Toy Drive

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Children’s Home Society of Florida Treasure Coast Division (CHS) wants to ensure that every child in its foster care and adoption programs receives at least one new toy this holiday season.  This is the Coast 101.3 FM WHLG’s ninth annual Holiday Toy Drive to benefit Children’s Home Society.  The program is designed to provide toys to more than 600 abused, neglected or abandoned children – infant through age 23 – in St. Lucie, Martin, Indian River and Okeechobee counties.

In Vero Beach, you can drop off new, unwrapped toys, donations or gift certificates at:

Quail Valley River Club, 2345 Hwy A1A, Vero Beach, FL 32963 772-492-2020

43rd Avenue Barber Shop, 43rd Street, Vero Beach 32968 772-532-7180

The community is also urged to become a Giving Angel sponsor.  Businesses, corporations, medical offices, libraries, supermarkets, high school classes, Girls or Boy Scout Troops or anyone committed to collecting new toys are all invited to participate.  CHS will work with Giving Angels to help facilitate collection of donated toys and ensure delivery to the children in time for Christmas.
