VERO BEACH– Subscriptions to the 2010 Celebrated Speakers Series at the Emerson Center are now available. Series subscriptions are $220 for all five speakers at either the 4 p.m. or 7 p.m. performances. Single tickets are $65 and will be made available for sale on December 1.
January 23: David Brooks, best known as NY Times Op-Ed columnist and weekly political commentator on NewsHour with Jim Lehrer.
February 13: Bob and Lee Woodruff; ABC Newsman Woodruff and his wife Lee Woodruff, a contributing editor for ABC’s Good Morning America, co-authored the 2007 best-selling In an Instant, the compelling chronicle of their family’s journey to recovery following Bob’s injuries in Iraq.
March 6: Ray Kurzweil, one of the leading inventors of our time, described as “the restless genius” by The Wall Street Journal, and “the ultimate thinking machine” by Forbes.
March 27: Jim Lehrer, author and journalist, best known for hosting Public Television’s The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer.
