Hugh Samuel Watson, 67, of Vero Beach, died Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009 at his home after an extended illness.Mr. Watson was born September 20, 1942 in Newark, N.J. and moved to Vero Beach in 1980 from Ocean Grove, N.J. He served in the U.S. Air Force and before his illness he was the manager at Zales Jewelry Outlet in Vero Beach for two years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in N.J. Survivors include his companion Anthony Trivino of Vero Beach. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m., Thursday, October 29, 2009 at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. A funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. with the Reverend Gary R. Moore presiding.Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach.
