Fiesta Pops Concert at VBHS Nov. 7

VERO BEACH — Put on your sombreros and get ready for a musical party at two Fiesta Pops Concerts, 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8 in the Vero Beach High School Performing Arts Center.

From Cuba to Mexico, Spain and Brazil, this concert will celebrate some of the Latino culture’s greatest works, both traditional and modern musical styles featuring the Vero Beach High School Orchestras and the All-County Middle School Orchestras.

Tickets are $12 for the lower level and $10 for the upper level.  Visa & MasterCard are accepted and all seating is reserved.

Over 120 students in the Vero Beach High School Orchestra work very hard to represent the past, present, and future of our cultural landscape.  They study and practice masterpieces of the past four hundred years of orchestral music, and they bring them alive in the present through performance in the beautiful Vero Beach High School Performing Arts Center.  And the future of orchestral music is alive and well, as several of these Vero Beach students will go on to study and perform with collegiate and conservatory orchestras.  Many of them aspire to perform professionally.  The proceeds from these “Fiesta” Pops Concerts will go to the musical education of the students in Indian River County.
