VERO BEACH – Authorities arrested a couple believed to be manufacturing methamphetamines in a home on 30th Avenue Tuesday morning.

Officers with the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office Multi-Agency Criminal Enforcement Unit arrested Scott Macintyre, 37, and Kellie Tyndall, 30, both of 1361 30th Ave., Vero Beach, after conducting a month-long investigation. Tyndall’s address is also listed as being Caprona Street in Sebastian, according to her booking report. Macintyre and Tyndall face charges of manufacturing Meth and unlawful possession of listed chemicals. Tyndall faces an additional charge of possessing drug paraphernalia, her arrest report states.

They are both being held at the county jail without bond.

According to the arrest affidavit, Macintyre told investigators that he “cooked” meth at the home multiple times in the past year and that both he and Tyndall purchase Psuedoephedrine from Walgreens and CVS stores once or twice a month to use make the drug.

“Macintyre stated that he and Tyndall are addicted to Roxicodone Oxycodone pills and supplement their pill use by ‘cooking’ or manufacturing methamphetamine, then using the methamphetamine he cooks,” the report states.

Macintyre also told investigators that it usually takes him about three hours to produce the meth – but it goes faster if he has help, according to the report.

Authorities found four Roxicodone pills in the home along with a glass pipe that they say has been used to smoke meth. The pipe was found in Tyndall’s purse, the report states. Other necessary chemicals to make meth were also found in the home, authorities said in the report.
