Early voting starts Monday, Oct. 19 for Vero Beach, Sebastian

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Beginning Monday, Oct. 19, voters will have the chance to cast their ballot for the Nov. 3 Municipal General Elections. Registered voters in the cities of Sebastian and Vero Beach are eligible to vote in this election.

Early Voting is available Oct. 19 through Saturday Oct. 31 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at one location only, the Supervisor of Elections office at 4375 43rd Ave., Unit #101, Vero Beach. Early voters should bring identification that contains a photo and a signature (such as a Florida driver’s license). Other acceptable forms of ID can be found on the Elections Office website. Those voters who do not have proper identification will be required to vote via provisional ballot.

Voters may request an absentee ballot to be mailed to them by visiting www.voteindianriver.com. Mail ballots cannot be forwarded.

If you will not be at your Indian River County address, please request the address to which you want the ballot mailed.

Voters who choose to wait until Election Day must go to their assigned polling places, which can be found on their Voter Information Card, on the Elections Office Web site by clicking on “Precinct Finder” or by calling the Elections Office.

Many polling locations within Indian River County have been consolidated in order to conform to budget cuts. All voters affected by polling place changes will be notified by the Supervisor of Elections.
