Season tickets for VBHS Performing Arts

VERO BEACH — Beginning October 20, 2009 tickets to the 2009-2010 Vero Beach High School Performing Arts season will be made available to the public.

At $50, the 2009-2010 VBHS Performing Arts season ticket package is the best deal in town, with seven events including Jazz and Classical Symphony Concerts under the direction of Mr. Matthew Stott, “No More Homework,” a Comedy by John Henderson featuring the Drama Department directed by Dee Rose with special arrangement through Baker’s Plays, choral presentations led by Mr. Gregory Harris and much more!  A special senior citizen’s (over 65) season ticket package is $45.

The students involved in the Performing Arts Department at Vero Beach High School will also participate in the great family musical, L. Frank Baum’s “The Wizard of Oz” on February 19 – 21 through a special arrangement with Tams-Witmark Music Library.  Those tickets are sold separately from the package at $10 for the upper level and $12 for the lower level.  Reserve early for the special Children’s Day when those 12 & under receive half off their admission. All seating is reserved.

The VBHS Bands will present their 17th Annual Red, White & Blue Concert, “American Musical Legends” on March 21-23 under the direction of Mr. James Sammons and Mr. Page Howell. With $12 general admission and $6 tickets for veterans; it is the patriotic event of the year!
