By Lisa ZahnerINDIAN RIVER COUNTY — When Hurricane Frances stalled over Indian River County and battered the area with wind and rain on Sept. 5, 2004, it was something that many local residents had never experienced to that extent.The aftermath of the storm — power outages, the cleanup, the struggle to return home and business to normal — for some people lasted weeks or even months.Though we never want to re-live that September five years ago, we would like to commemorate it using some of your hurricane pictures.Please send us any digital shots you have of hurricane preparations, damage, pictures you took during evacuation or while riding out the storm at home.
