Allen Wayne Augustus, 48, of Vero Beach, died Aug. 23, 2009, at his home. He was born in Vero Beach and was a lifetime resident.
Survivors include his mother, Linda Johnson Augustus, of Vero Beach; father, Aaron Augustus, of West Palm Beach; sons, Allen Wayne Augustus and Latravius Newton, both of Vero Beach, and Allen Wayne Augustus, of Leesburg; daughter, Airel Langam, of Vero Beach; brother, James Coffee, of Vero Beach; and sister, Paula Augustus, of West Palm Beach.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 28 at Hortense/Mills Memorial Funeral Home in Vero Beach. A service will be at 11 a.m. Aug. 29 at Church of God in Christ No. 1. Burial will be in Gifford Cemetery.
