Susan M. Wood, 46, of Vero Beach, died in her sleep, July 3, 2009. She resided in Vero Beach with her fiancé and loving partner Michael Yasky. Survivors include her mother, Kathryn (Carl) Wood, of Avon Park; her father, George (Gail) Wood, of Tampa; sister, Linda (Robert) McGregor, of Geneva, N.Y.; brothers; James, of Treasure Island, and George, of Tampa; her nieces and nephews; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and her dog and best friend, Pooper. She is predeceased by her brother Mark. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Funeral arrangements through Haisley Funeral Home and will be private for family and close friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Susan’s name be made to Project Response 3501 Orange Ave, Ft. Pierce, FL 34947.
