VERO BEACH — In the 12 years that I’ve lived in Indian River County, I’ve truly enjoyed getting to know the people involved with the non-profit organizations that serve our community. As the new society editor for VeroNews.com, I hope to continue and expand upon those associations.This latest online venue provides a unique opportunity for organizations to promote their events, fund-raisers and overall message and will encompass non-profit activities in all of Indian River County, including Fellsmere and Sebastian. Although July through September is our area’s quietest in terms of fund-raisers and events, it’s also the perfect time to give readers a quick glimpse into what events are being planned for our busy season. I’m excited about this new venture and look forward to learning more about your organizations.
