Indian River Symphonic Association 2009-10 schedule announced

VERO BEACH — The concert schedule for the Indian River Symphonic Association’s 2009-10 season will include seven evening symphonic concerts.  All concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. and are held at the Community Church of Vero Beach. Sunday, Jan. 17 – Brevard Symphony Orchestra Pops Concert, with Conductor Christopher Confessore and vocalist Michael Andrew

Saturday, Jan. 30 – Moscow State Radio Symphony Orchestra, with Music Director Alexei Kornienko and Guest Conductor Robert Cole

Tuesday, Feb. 9 – Detroit Symphony Orchestra, with Conductor Leonard Slatkin and Cellist Sol Gabetta

Tuesday, Feb. 16 – Philharmonia of the Nations, with Conductor Justus Frantz and pianist Jon Nakamatsu

Sunday, March 7 – Brevard Symphony Orchestra, with Conductor Christopher Confessore and pianist Terrence Wilson

Monday, March 15 – Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, with Conductor JoAnn Falletta and pianist Fabio Bidini

Sunday, April 11 – Brevard Symphony Orchestra, with Conductor Christopher Confessore and cellist Julie Albers
