VERO BEACH – Two local veterans were welcomed home at the June 25 meeting of the Military Moms Prayer Group.Dan Richardson, son of Rita Richardson of Sebastian, and Michael Rettemneir, son of Jennifer Budde of Vero Beach recently returned from being deployed overseas. Richardson was deployed twice to Iraq and once to Afghanistan — not the reverse as I previously mentioned.The Military Moms Group meets at 5:30 p.m. every Thursday at the Women’s Refuge in Vero Beach. All moms, family members and supporters of the troops are welcome.
