Vero Beach police win 16 medals in Games

VERO BEACH –Members of the Vero Beach Police Department collected a total of 16 medals by the conclusion of the Florida Law Enforcement Games held on the Treasure Coast, June 21 through June 27. Sergeant Alan Hall led the way earning three gold medals and a silver for swimming, followed by retired Officer Kevin Delisle, one gold for skeet shooting, silver and two bronze for trap and a silver for 5-star stand shoot. Officer Doug Bickford picked up a gold and bronze in archery, while Detective Jason Jones received the gold for the half-marathon and silver in cross country. In weight lifting reserve Officer Paul Zelno grabbed a silver and Lieutenant Matthew Monaco and Detective Brian Kerensky received the bronze for beach volleyball.
