Sebastian City Hall

The City of Sebastian is recognized as the home of Pelican Island, the first designated wildlife refuge in the United States, a Millennium City, and a Tree City USA.

 

It was first incorporated as the Town of Sebastian in 1924 and currently boasts a population of approximately 22,000. The city has seen rapid growth in the past several years and it is anticipated to continue.

 

 

The city council consists of five members including Mayor Richard Gillmor, Vice Mayor Jim Hill, Councilmember Andrea Coy, Councilmember Dale Simchick, and Councilmember Eugene Wolff. The city manager is Al Minner.
