Herman Richard Dietz Jr., 76, Sebastian; Korean War veteran

Herman Richard Dietz Jr., 76, of Sebastian, died June 24, 2009, at Sebastian River Medical Center. He was born in Holyoke, Mass., and lived in this area for 12 years, coming from Easthampton, Mass.  He served in the Army during the Korean War. He was an owner of Dietz Construction Corp. in Easthampton. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion.

 

 

 

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Michaline; sons, Herman Richard Dietz III, of Southampton, Mass., and David Dietz, of Northampton, Mass.; daughter, Debra Donovan, of Huntington, Mass.; sisters, Janet Bryant, of St. Croix, Virgin Islands, and Dorothy Hock, of Sebastian; and seven grandchildren.

 

He was preceded in death by his sister, Marlyon Carr.
