Buy ticket to win 1957 Ford Thunderbird to benefit Habitat

Picture yourself cruising along the highways of summer in your very own, sleek white 1957 Ford Thunderbird – the black convertible top down, the Fiesta red interior glistening, the engine purring, the other drivers gazing longingly. It could happen. Through the generosity of an anonymous donor, some lucky winner (it could be you) will claim  this sweet ride at Habitat’s annual Cracker Hoedown Nov. 7.Details include:

Driven just a tad more than 400 miles since professional ground-up, off-body restoration

312-cubic inch engine

Automatic transmission

Holly carburetor

Town & Country radio

Power steering, brakes, windows and seat

Stainless tailpipes and mufflers

Wide white wall tires

Car has consistently won 1st place (coast to coast) in the class for cars restored to original specifications

 Tickets are $100 each and are available now at the Habitat office and Home Center, 4568 N. US 1. Only 750 are offered and they’re going fast.
