VERO BEACH – To celebrate their birthdays, 15 local 5- to 9-year-old students in the Youth Guidance mentoring progam toured the Vero Beach Museum of Art and attended a play at Riverside Children’s Theatre. Matched one-on-one with adult volunteers, the students enjoyed a picnic lunch and cupcakes after the play. They also received birthday presents. This outing is one of many special events sponsored by the Youth Guidance Mentoring and Activities Program of Indian River County throughout the year.
