VERO BEACH — The Vero Beach Art Club will offer eight Sunday Outdoor Art Exhibits and Sales at Humiston Park at 3000 Ocean Drive starting Nov. 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The events are free and open to the public. The dates are Nov. 29, Dec. 13, Jan. 3 and 21, Feb. 14 and 28, March 28, and April 11. The club will also host the following events throughout the season:
Dec. 5, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Art Trail – Tour of 10 Artists’ Studios around Vero Beach; Kickoff to the Vero Beach Art Club season. Intimate look at the studios of the artists and their work. (Ticketed Event – $25 per ticket/$45 for two).
Jan. 15 – 17, Art by the Sea – Art Show by the members of the Vero Beach Art Club and the Museum of Art – free and open to the public, at the Vero Beach Museum of Art, Holmes Great Hall, 3001 Riverside Park Dr. Friday Reception 5 to 8 p.m. with Cocktail Reception and Opening; Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Over 200 artists exhibit and sell their work.
March 12 – 14, 59th Annual Under the Oaks Fine Arts & Crafts Show – Over 200 quality artists and craftspeople exhibit their work at an originals only three-day event in Riverside Park, which attracts over 80,000 visitors each year; Free and open to the public; Friday & Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Vero Beach Art Club General Meetings and Art Related Presentations, artists & presenters to be announced, will be held on the first Thursday of every month (except for December) from October to May from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The meetings are free & open to the public.Each month at the general meeting of the membership, the VBAC offers a wide selection of interesting artists or instructors to speak about their artwork or demonstrate techniques of working in their medium. Members are also invited to participate in the February Spring Show, six Library Exhibits, Members Invitational held in the Museum, the Treasure Coast Competitive and more.
