Marjorie S. Everett, 82, of Vero Beach, Florida, died Saturday, June 13, 2009, at her home. She was born Oct. 7, 1926, in Philadelphia, Pa., and moved to Vero Beach in 1986, coming from Strafford, Pa. Mrs. Everett earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics from Penn State University. She was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority at Penn State. Mrs. Everett is survived by her husband of 62 years, James L. Everett, III; three sons, James L. Everett, IV of Natick, Mass., Christopher G. Everett of Devon, Pa. and John K. Everett of Conshohocken, Pa.; and five grandchildren. Private services will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the Humane Society of Vero Beach, P.O. Box 644, Vero Beach, FL 32961, in memory of Mrs. Everett.Arrangements are under the direction of Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach.
